HUMILIATION

I was alerted by the loud and angry calls of hadedas and drongos that something was happening in the garden. The anguished squeal of this juvenile crowned eagle confirmed what had occurred.  The young eagle had set off on one of his first hunting flights only to be attacked and forced to hide in the undergrowth by birds one would consider lower down in the avian hierarchy!

How humiliating!
