EVERGREEN OR DECIDUOUS

I saw this bl-oak swaying gently in the afternoon breeze in the busy Rue Ste-Catherine, Bordeaux.

He was causing bemusement among the shoppers and fortunately, for him, there were no dogs to be confused.

I concluded that his foliage looked evergreen rather than deciduous and that he was unlikely to bear fruit.
