PARIS TREES: #3 AUTUMN IN LE JARDIN DES TUILERIES

Late summer or early autumn ... the trees signal their indecision - some still summer green while others have changed to shades of orange and brown and the ground beneath their branches covered with fallen leaves.

Le Jardin des Tuileries were laid out in the 17th century by Andre Le Notre who was also responsible for the gardens of the Palace of Versailles. The Tuileries gardens are very popular, frequented by Parisians and visitors wishing to find a refuge from the busy streets of the city.
