A scorchingly hot (38 degrees Celsius) Sunday afternoon at the Sunset Dam near Lower Sabie in the Kruger National Park and these Yellow-billed Storks appear oblivious to the danger lurking in front of them ... an enormous crocodile mere metres away! Were the storks displaying foolhardy bravado or could they discern whether the croc. was looking for dinner or not? By the time we moved on, the game of "chicken" had not come to an end!
