I thought that Amsterdam might be considered the "Cheese Capital of the World" when considering the number of cheese shops encountered in the city, but I was wrong - Plymouth has been given that honour!
Amsterdam does however feature as one of the Ten Best spots to be included in a discerning cheese-lover's bucket-list!
The photo below was found on the website of the Kaasdragersgilde (the Cheese Carriers' Guild) - fascinating!
