A PLACE FOR REFLECTION

The Hall of Mirrors in the Palace of Versailles with its scintillating crystal chandeliers and mirrored walls was the venue for the signing of the Treaty of Versailles at the end of the First World War.

Upon reflection - the flaws in the treaty did not result in establishing long-term peace in Europe and 20 years later, the world was again at war.
