Las Ramblas is a Barcelona street that stretches from the Placa Catalunya down to the Port Vell. It is an extremely popular tourist attraction lined with small shops, restaurants and street performers including a variety of human statues ... Galileo seated next to an enormous telescope and a 19th century cyclist on a "penny farthing" accompanied by (presumably) the angel of death on a monocycle. Less bizarre is the gun-toting cowboy threatening to lasso unsuspecting passers-by!
