MOONRISE OVER PARIS


As the moon rises over the rooftops of Paris, it highlights the details of roofs, chimneys, dormer windows and the ubiquitous TV aerials. Although most of the chimneys are no longer in use, they remain as monuments to a different era when heating and cooking relied on fire rather than gas or electricity.
