The view from our fifth floor apartment after a torrential summer thunderstorm. Parisian roofs create a fascinating sight - probably the result of so many buildings being the same height. Grey zinc roofing, dormer windows, hundreds of chimney pots and the forest of TV aerials, all contribute to the mystique of the city.
