HOMMAGE À ANSEL ADAMS (1902 – 1984)

Today is the anniversary of the death of the renowned American photographer, Ansel Adams. His iconic black and white photographs of American landscapes have made his work a reference point for all aspiring photographers.

He is reputed to have said, “A good photograph is knowing where to stand.”

I hope I stood in the right place when I took this shot near La-Roque-Saint-Christophe on the Vezere river.
