BICYCLE DEMONSTRATION

Hardly a Sunday goes by in Paris without a demonstration or two.  Some end in confrontation between the protestors and the riot police, others pass without incident providing amusement to onlookers and perhaps a little frustration to motorists as roads are blocked.

This colourful and good-natured demonstration was organized by cycling enthusiasts "claiming back the streets of Paris for their use"!  One of their placards read ... "In cycle we trust" ... while another proclaimed the start of a "velolution"!  What fun!
