TROO (LOIR-ET-CHER)

The small village of Troo lies on the banks of the Loir in the Loir-et-Cher department.  Among the unique features of this picturesque village are the number of dwellings that have been carved into the limestone cliffs.  These caves have been occupied for centuries and many have been modernised by their current owners.
