THE PALACE OF THE PARLIAMENT OF DAUPHINÉ

Grenoble was once the capital of the Dauphiné and this building served as the seat of the parliament.

I was fascinated by these sculptures above one of the doors of the building. Parts of the building date back to the 15th century with many additions made over the years as its role changed. The former parliament building has up until 2002 served as a court house and is now being transformed into a museum.
