NOT A ROAD FOR THE FAINT-HEARTED

This narrow road taking residents to their homes in the mid levels of the town of Beynac-et-Cazenac is certainly not for the faint-hearted or intoxicated!

Beynac-et-Cazenac is one of six medieval villages in the Dordogne which have been recognized for their unique architectural style - others include Domme, Roque de Gazeac and Sarlat. Walking through their narrow streets is like stepping into a "time machine" and travelling back a thousand years.
